A weekly get together for male veterans, run by veterans. Each week brings something different, from fishing and foraging to walks, quizzes, workshops or just a good brew and a catch up. The lads decide what's next.
When you leave the Forces, you lose more than a job. You lose the lads, the routine and the sense of being part of something. Stand Easy Fella’s is about getting some of that back.
It's a weekly group for male veterans, organised and led by veterans themselves. There's no fixed programme, because the group decides. One week it might be angling or foraging. The next it could be a hike, a trip out, learning a new skill, a darts night or putting something back into the community.
Everyone gets a say, and everyone's welcome, whatever your service, rank or era, and whether you left last year or forty years ago.
It's relaxed, it's social, and it's built on the one thing veterans do better than anyone: looking out for each other. If you'd like a chat with the Forward Assist team about anything else, we're never far away.
