Forward Assist has collaborated with North East based Community Interest Company ‘Bike4Health to provide;

  • Guided Cycle Rides

  • Bike Maintenance Training Classes

  • Level 1 Coaching Cycling (L1ACC) Qualifications

Every Year Forward Assist organise a week long Cycling expedition in Europe. The trip is usually 200-300 miles long and is used as a fundraising event and opportunity for veterans to utilise their newly acquired Cycle Leader skills whilst improving fitness and confidence for all involved.

Veterans and Corporate sponsors have taken part in the London to Paris Cycle Ride in 2015 & 16 and the Foundation of Lights ‘Ride of Remembrance’ in 2015 a 320 mile cycle ride from Brussels to Paris. In 2017 Forward Assist cycled 250 miles from the Tyne2 Rhine to pay our respects to all the UK forces that lost their lives during the infamous battle at Arnhem.
