Pilates

As part of the Forward Assist offer to assist improved physical and mental well being amongst our service users, we currently offer free Pilates4Veterans classes once a week, every Tuesday at the Forward Assist Veterans Headquarters based in the John Willie Sams Centre, Dudley.  This is led by Jacqui Miller, who is a fully qualified Pilates instructor.  She describes the sessions as:

“Pilates aims to strengthen the core working the abdomen, back and pelvic floor in a slow and controlled manner. It improves mobility and flexibility within the joints whilst strengthening the muscles around them improving stability and preventing injuries. Pilates also aims to improve posture by encouraging awareness of joint alignment. It is relaxing and suitable for all ages and ability levels.”
